Valley Street in Darlington holds the tale of Homecare Supplies, a family-run haven for home improvement since 1972. We started small, nestled in a Borough Road shop, offering central heating and plumbing solutions to both Trade and Retail.
Our pivotal move to Valley Street in 1974 marked a turning point. Over four decades, we’ve grown into a cornerstone of home improvement across County Durham, reaching from Darlington to Harrogate, Teesside to North Yorkshire, and everywhere in between.
The unveiling of our first dedicated bathroom showroom in 1975 was a milestone. Today, it’s a space adorned with designs from leading manufacturers, reflecting both contemporary and traditional styles, offering personalized design services for every home.
Our expansion into fireplace showcases in 1980 paved the way for kitchen appliances and bespoke bedroom displays. We’ve committed ourselves to quality, evident in our significant expansion in 2004 and subsequent refurbishments in 2016 and 2017.
