BC Designs Tin Boat Bath
- Tin roll top double ended freestanding bath
- Tin is applied by smoothing melted tin over the copper surface using a moleskin type cloth.
- Tin has been used as a surface over many years and has proved to be durable and full of character, yet retains the properties of a copper bath.
- Heat Retention. Copper baths retail the heat of your water for much longer than acrylic or cast iron versions meaning you can have a longer soak without topping up your bath.
- Hygiene. A little known fact that few homeowners are aware of is that copper is actually a super metal when it come to killing germs, meaning viruses which can survive on steel and glass are eliminated much more quickly on copper, helping the room stay germ free.
- Copper baths have a hand polished finish, guaranteeing each one is different from the rest.
- All the curves are made with no more than a hammer, an experienced eye and a strong arm. Variations and undulations will occur during this process which is why each piece is distinctive.
